Hey, as long as BO2 does what BO1 did right then I'm all for it.

It was a joke bruther. Relax pal
Those things are awesome, yes, but the campaign had some seriously awesome moments (and some seriously bad moments). It had some memorable set pieces (most "epic" setpieces in any game are extremely forgettable), some nice surprises, and kept me on my toes for the most part. When it wasn't too busy being a CoD game, it had some great moments. I do admit it had horrendous pacing, segments where enemies unfairly respawn with confusing objectives, and it the usual CoD problems with it.

people played the singleplayer?!
(insertshockedfacehere)
my love is like a candle, if you forget me, i will burn your damn house down.
I always play the singleplayer first and then the multiplayer.
The single player should always make me say "this gun is awesome! I can't wait to use it in multiplayer!" and give me more incentive to keep playing the multiplayer. Also, the singleplayer should be just as important as the multiplayer if they wish to include it and should be looked at as such. Battlefield 3, for example, had a horrendous singleplayer. It was so bad that the multiplayer could be made out of solid chocolate and I wouldn't have played it longer than I did.

mhm, nothing better than using a weapon in single player. then going online and notice that the patch they brought out messed up the entire weapons balance and it's nothing like it was in the SP
