But there is a Walden videogame.
From the hint I predict something related to 99 Problems as that's in the first post you see on his twitter page.

Since walden always criticized the consumist style of life, and video games are somehow all the opposite, I guess that next week artist don't want to be popular or mainstream, but they, somehow, are.
The first names that come to mind are Radiohead, Pearl Jam (both never wanted to be mainstream but are really popular) and Rise Against (vegans, and against society).
Rage Against The Machine are another good candidate.

I know nothing of this Walden Thoreau guy, which puts me at somewhat of a disadvantage. According to Wikipedia he lived on land owned by another guy I don't know about, Ralph Emerson. I think there is a band with an Emerson in it, but I don't really know it. Maybe them.
Other than that, the guy seems like a bit of a technophobe. Maybe we are getting someone who prefers accoustic over electronic instruments?
edit - semi-ninja'd
Sorry, I got bored and thought I'd try humour. Maybe I'm no good at it.
I honestly know nothing about Walden, Henry David Thoreau or Ralph Waldo Emerson, though. I believe this is because the Australian education system in the 1980s focused on other things. Different cultures, different priorities and interests.
Wow, I would have thought that even in foreign countries those two writers would make for some pretty basic curriculum in the mid-high school years. They are both American, yes, but it's not like their writings pertain only to America.
Hunh.
Well I guess you showed me![]()
