Well it's simple, when I go for random on keys: Have songs that I want to play, and don't choose songs without keys or I leave, as I hate watching. When I go random for pro bass: I don't care about upgrades for now as I am still learning the on-disc songs, but don't go choosing songs without a pro bass part or I am out too. All I ask from people is respect for my instrument's choice, which I rarely get sadly. When I run into a keyboardist and/or a pro guitarist/bassist, I put the filter according to their instruments, I assume it's not too much to ask for the same.

I love how satisfying the accomplishments in that game can be, whatever instruments you play .
I'd started that session because someone mentioned "Radar Love" in this thread and I'd forgotten that it was in the game. I decided to check out the RB3 song list again and scrolled through and saw some scores that were particularly embarrassing so I played them to improve those scores. When RB3 was released I'd only been playing the game for a year; I played through the RB3 setlist at my skill level then and only continue to play a handful of those songs. The biggest hurdle to overcome for me has been sequences of rapid HOPOs and I've gotten a lot better at "reflexively" tapping through those (sometimes I'll get through one without breaking combo and think, "Huh--how the hell did I do that?" ). It's a bit like building muscle memory for touch-typing. There remains much that I cannot deal with, but I slowly improve over time.

I remember that time, when I ''whated'' everytime I got a long HOPO streak that I was sure I was gonna miss. Those were satisfying. Now it's more like switching strings without overhitting and that kind of thing, 4 stars with 98% happens way more often on pro due to overhits. But that thing is so fun to play with!

Wonderful choices. This makes me happy.
It's spelled "Squier." Stop spelling it like someone who is in training to be a knight.
