Star Wars Kinect says hi. When you've got a whole game revolving around an established franchise and the best thing about it is... the Dance Central knock-off minigame... I'd say that's a problem.

Not that I don't have faith in Harmonix as a developer, but the Kinect interface is lacking in a number of ways: heavy input lag, accuracy (especially with high speed or subtle movement), a distinct lack of discrete and reliable controls, and tactile feedback. There's also an endurance issue of how long you expect people to stand in front of the camera doing things before fatigue sets in.

On the other hand, maybe whatever Microsoft has cooking on their new hardware will address at least some of these problems. I guess we'll know more whenever Harmonix decides to pull the tarp off whatever this project is.

There were plenty of people that posted in my thread that they would snap up my ideas if implemented. You want to ignore them, that's fine. They aren't exactly a poll either, but PLEASE don't pretend you know what the majority wants without ANY evidence to back it up other than your pomposity.
I'm a RPG fan and I KNOW RPG is a niche market. It's just naive to think the general public will flock to a RB game in the genre.

Especially when Tour Mode was dumbed down BECAUSE people didn't play far into it. But suddenly, we make it an RPG and people want to devote more time to it? No. 'Leveling' a character or whatever you had in mind is as uninteresting to the general public as needing more than 10 characters and complaining that they all look like **** in RB3 anyway.

I mean, yeah, personally I would love an integrated story and character writing in a music game; but I don't pretend it's in the community's interest.

Lissenup, all you RPG fanboys (& grrls). Everybody knows that nobody plays stupid rpg games with complex story lines (ME3) or time-consuming character development (WoW), or anything at all like that! The Math says so! (Karl?)

Rockband is about button-mashing, plain and simple (MW3?). Sure, sometimes it's the green button and sometimes it's the orange button (gasp!), but that's all the variety you're gonna get! This ain't the Sims! So quitcher whining and posting all them "helpful suggestions" lest you bring down the financial doom hammer on what's left of this once-proud franchise!

    You have been warned!!!
