I love how you've conveniently ignored what I pointed out earlier:
Every single song starts off as unrated with 0. They don't start with a random distribution, so it's not "5/6ths" in practice. It's "virtually every single song" unless you're one of those people who have methodically rated every song in your Rock Band library.

Uh huh. Except it's pathetically easy to argue that people turning on a filter to block certain ratings would rate things.
Also, songs start off as 0. We're 18 months down the road. A lot of people have rated a lot of songs.
And it doesn't need to be methodically rated, nor every song.

None of that matters, because the starting state is always 0 lighters. Everything you do beyond that alters that state, but simply turning on a filter doesn't mean squat.
For instance, you might have accidentally hit it while trying to actually turn on another filter, and never even noticed it.
The fact that we have a thread pop on this forum once a week or so from people doing exactly this thing indicates that people either do not know they've turned the filter on (true in almost all of the cases seen so far) and/or vehemently deny having rated a song until told to double check (also true in virtually every case). My position is that it is extremely easy to accidentally rate a song. Whether you're at 5 lighters on a song you play regularly and accidentally hit the rate button twice, or whether you played a previously unrated song and hit it once does not matter.
And what is your response? Oh, of COURSE hardly anyone is doing it because they have to hit it X number of times? Why are you even going on about that? It's obviously happening and the facts are against you.

Right. I never denied that. I said most ratings take more than one accidental click to be removed. I never said how common having those ratings was. I never said how many people even bothered to rate ever. I said most ratings take more than one click.
You can keep fighting and say, "It's not that way 5/6ths of the time!" when I said 5/6ths was the potential situations, not a likelihood, or you can keep saying it's possible, which I've never come close to denying, but it's largely pointless.

So why are you even participating in this discussion?
You are trying (for whatever reason) to muddle the conversation and are contributing less than zero to the topic. If your intent was to simply be obstructionist and annoying, well, you're absolutely succeeding. Congratulations?

Good to know that in the modern age of the internet, the species Equus asinus asinus is still able to proliferate and thrive.
