Maybe, just maybe, if we all close our eyes real tight and pray real hard...
In fairness, we've recently got Pink/Shinedown/Maiden DLC so all hope ain't lost!

Doesn't have to be masters. I'm talking a general era of songs. The 80s versions of Johnny Cash were fine. Good Vibrations is a great live version. It's just a good era of songs (IMO) and with every Rock Band setlist so far having such a broad range you can forgive me for maybe hoping for one or two ancients in the setlist.

If you didn't notice, they chose fast paced/upbeat songs for this game. The setlist have to please both casual gamers, mostly under their 20s and regular Rock Band players, therefore we got some 80s tracks. They couldn't go better than this.

That's a good point I didn't consider. Still, don't tell me songs like Travelin' Band won't be more fun in this game than something like Pumped Up Kicks. I don't get why they'd want to appeal to people under their 20s though? Where has that come from?

So is this all that's gonna be announced today, or is there a possibility that a different site could announce more songs?

I'm Still Standing is probably one of the better choices for a game like this. Songs like Tiny Dancer, Your Song, and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road are great, but not something one would associate with fast-paced arcade gameplay.

And it gets the Glee-meter up.

Cult of Personality is a massive get. Shine, One Week and Shout are strong as well.

"Shout" doesn't seem arcadey to me. Seems really slow paced for what this game is trying to be.
