The sum of the parts is always going to be more important in the long run, so you can't sweat it too much when some people are upset, especially when the tone almost always turns around in a week or two.

As for Maiden in particular, the first pack was voted by the community to be one of the 10 best packs of DLC we've ever release and they remain one of the most played artists at live events and we continue to get tons of requests for them every week. Within the first 2 hours the click throughs and social stats are among the highest of any DLC we've released this year. It may not be what every single person wants, but this 6 pack is going to make a ton of people happy so that sounds like a pretty big win to me.

    You don't want to... what?

Unless you can somehow get major label bands in Rock Band, I'm not sure where you're going with this.

You can always make those songs disappear from your hard drive, though I'd wonder why you have them on your hard drive in the first place...

    One

I'll only get 7th Son of a 7th Son. Congrats to all the die-hard rockers!

Can't wait for the next batch of 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's rock n' pop.

Never mind that it's Maiden, you know what I'm really happy to see this week? The return of the 6-pack! I realize circumstances make it unrealistic to hope for, but it would be nice if this continued.
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

In the podcast they said Phantom of the Opera is devil tier on all instruments (but no keys part). Is this the first DLC song with that?

You guys have learned your lesson about quoting things from films you've never seen since Huey Lewis. I'm swelling with pride.
It's not a movie. Guybrush Threepwood said that.

No kidding. Paul gets the devil tier? That I didn't see coming. But I guess if you don't know the song already, the vocal lines could be tough to follow.

I think a few RBN songs have had all devils, but I can't recall any mainline DLC off the top of my head. When Run to the Hills got rereleased, the vocals were brought down.

Oh sh*t, Maiden strikes again! Nice to see a big pack too. I still play the hell out of the first pack.

Definitely buying this, best pack we've gotten in months.

Oh well, DLC has been boring for the past few months. It'd be cool if they had more modern stuff and things with awesome piano and harmony parts like... ugh, I don't know, Song For Whoever by the Beautiful South or 20 Dollar Nose Bleed by Fall Out Boy.
