5/22 DLC Discussion Thread - Iron Maiden Epics 6 Pack!

For me, "The Clairvoyant" was easily one of the best songs in the first pack. It is one of the three songs in that pack I have five-lightered (along with "Fear of the Dark (Live)" and "Wasted Years").

Iron Maiden and The Clairvoyant were the only two songs I was unfamiliar with in the first pack, every other song I knew well and heard many times. i'm sure others are in a similar situation. I agree the Iron Maiden was a wasted song in the pack. the Clairvoyant was okay, but there are plenty of other songs i would want beside it. Anyways always hoping for more Maiden in the future. Excited about these six songs and the upcoming announcement for the Blitz song.

In the podcast it sounded like they were about to announce the next batch of Blitz songs, so I'm gonna guess next Friday they will reveal some new songs!

I'm saying E3 we get the setlist, that's not too far away.

According to Pope, we'll be getting 'a lot more' Blitz announcements even sooner than E3.

Anyhow, for those who were hoping for something else, you'll be hearing a lot more in a couple weeks...

Yes i would say next week sometime we get a couple songs announced.

I pretty much know all of the songs off of Somewhere Back In Time The Best Of: 1980-1989. The tracklist from there is:

2 Minutes To Midnight
The Trooper
Wasted Years
Children Of The Damned
The Number Of The Beast
Run To The Hills
Phantom Of The Opera (Live)
The Evil That Men Do
Wrathchild (Live)

I bolded the songs we do not have in RB yet. (Live vs. studio version doesn't matter) If we manage to get one of these in Blitz, I highly doubt it will be Churchill's Speech. My guess one of the other three tracks in Blitz. Children Of The Damned, The Evil That Men Do, or Wrathchild. Personally I wanna see Children Of The Damned. Think they'll pick that one?

Yes, I will pick up this pack. and unlike the first pack, I will pick this up all at once. Only have 9/12 of the other pack since I cherry-picked it in my early days of DLC purchases. Run To The Hills was in the very first bundle of songs I bought. Only knew it from GTA-IV

As it turns out, I have been inspired my the newer material. In fact, No More Lies helped inspire me to write a novel (that I did finish and publish, btw). So...you're wrong. Boy, that was easy. If you don't like it, whatever, but don't speak for the masses and claim it's uniformly "uninspiring."
