Robin Gibb loses his battle with cancer

    Bee Gees founder was 62

Yes, I know, roll tide and all that, but he was the frontman for a pretty major music group.

Sure seems like we've had a lot of RIP threads the last few months. Bad time to be a famous musician, or what?

Not to me, and not trying to sound rude either.

I loved the Bee Gees, they were the only cassette we had in our can when we went on road trips. I grew up listening to them, and will always have those memories with me. This is a sad day indeed.

Great singer from a great band. RIP. Nights on Broadway is probably my favorite Bee Gee song.

Played "Staying Alive" in honor of the deceased Bee Gee during a Rock Band playing get together amongst siblings. Looking back, a song called "Staying Alive" being used in honor of a dead person seems a bit wrong.

    Oh well, RIP Robin Gibb
