Also, note that double hits happen more frequently when you hit the cymbal hard. Go into Rock Band 2 and into Drum Training/Freestyle Mode (I forget exactly what it's called, but it's the mode where you can play the drums freely). RB3 does not have this mode. It's easy to see the double-hits in there, so you can diagnose which of your cymbals is busted.

Sorry I couldn't keep up the shouting, but my virtual voice was getting hoarse.

Why Are You Capitalizing Every Word It's Not A Song Title You're Writing That Just Looks Confusing And It's Really Difficult To Read.

"RB3 does not have this mode."

Yes it does, in the same place.

Its hardly extreme. If they are going to produce something they need to make a profit. You have to pay everybody wages, production costs, shipping costs, accounting, etc.

What you should do is get an electronic kit.

    my cymbal's fine!
    i tried them all!
they work fine!!! its the female ports in the back of the drum set! weak connection's or something?!?! i never was hard on the set im light on it! but like i was saying back there <---- ..... i thought it was the cymbal double hitting! but it wasn't! its the drum set itself! My 2 Beatles Set's! i got one for free cause it was about to be thrown out! .... so of course i grabbed it! i felt i could fix it ... but i can't even begin to figure out whats wrong with it! ... the error here is coming from the main pcb board! i was actually thinking of reheating all the connection's to see if that would repair the issue... but i'll wait till i actually find out whats wrong!.... it is annoying as hell tho! how oh how i wish those rb1 set's had pro cymbal port's!

It has freestyle drums, sure, but you don't see the visual representation of you hitting the pads to visually verify the number of times the it's been struck.

Sweet. I already have the Ion and with that price you may as well just spend the extra $100 for the Ion.
But either way it is nice to see a pro set for under $300.

Easy Double-Hittin' Cymbal Fix= Remove the underside guts casing, cut 3-5 1" squares of duct tape and stack them to make a 'pad'. Stick the pad to the bottom of cymbal[in the hit zone] to the edge of rim and slightly under the casings edge, and replace casing. Works like a charm and can be done for the pads too if needed.

tl;dr. Try shouting less, dude. 850,000 exclamation points just make your posts hard to read.

This. Far more durable. I love mine.
It's spelled "Squier." Stop spelling it like someone who is in training to be a knight.
