How much would you pay for the RB Blitz songs as DLC?

Assuming the Blitz tracks were only available as DLC and assuming the regular two buck price point, how many of the tracks would you pay normal price for?

If you absolutely LOVE one of the songs and would pay something exhorbitant for it, that's awesome, but I was hoping this thread would encourage people to think about the value they'd get from these songs strictly as DLC.

Here is the setlist, currently known:

All-American Rejects - Kids In the Street
    Barenaked Ladies - One Week
    Blink-182 - Always
    Collective Soul - Shine
Elton John - I'm Still Standing
Fall Out Boy - A Little Less Sixteen Candles
Foster the People - Pumped Up Kicks
Great White - Once Bitten Twice Shy
    Iron Maiden - Wicker Man
Living Colour - Cult of Personality
    P!nk - Raise Your Glass
Quiet Riot - Bang Your Head (Metal Health)
    Rick Springfield - Jessie's Girl
    Shinedown - Diamond Eyes
    Tears for Fears - Shout

Personally, I would buy the tracks from Barenaked Ladies, Blink-182, Collective Soul, Elton John, Foster the People, Great White, Living Colour, P!nk, Quiet Riot, Rick Springfield, and Tears for Fears almost immediately, if they were to be released as regular DLC. I haven't listened to all of the newly announced tracks, so it's possible I would buy more.

That makes 11 tracks for me, or 22 dollars. That's already greater than the likely cost of the game (which I am definitely looking forward to in and of itself) for me!

Assuming they were released as individual songs you would pay 2 bucks each.

Since the game download will make the songs cheaper per song I don't see it being likely they would be offered as a pack outside of the game so...

I actually don't see them coming out as singles any time soon either. It's the perfect promotion tool for Blitz.

Maybe I am missing the point of the question but is seems you just want to know what tracks you would cherry pick at full price in which case I would still buy the whole game to support HMX while getting a great deal on a cost per song basis.

My favorites are One Week, Shine, I'm Still Standing, Once Bitten Twice Shy, Cult of Personality, Bang Your Head, Jessie's Girl, and Shout. I would get the rest but the above would be code red. I would pay sixty dollars for blitz but I don't think it will be above 39.99
Faith No More is a perfect fit for Rock Band 3 dlc

I think the idea is, if there were no Blitz but these songs were only released as DLC at full price, how many of them would you have bought, and what would your total expenditure for that set of songs be? It's a means of quantifying just how good the price-per-song deal is when we compare this per-song-that-we-like price to the actual price of the game.

Granted, this thought experiment will have a bit more meaning once we know the full tracklist and the actual price.

So far I'd say there are about 6 songs that I'd buy individually, so I'm only up to $12, but I'm sure the rest of the songs will grow on me and I bet that the final tracklist will include at least a couple more must-haves

    Good point...

But if there was no Blitz, there would be Blitz sub forum and this thread would not exist.... Paradox!!!

Yes, that is what I intended- basically, how many dollars worth of hypothetical DLC purchases would the setlist be for you. Apologies if my wording was a bit clumsy.

    Probably/Definitely buy as single:
    Barenaked Ladies - One Week
    Collective Soul - Shine
Great White - Once Bitten Twice Shy
    Iron Maiden - Wicker Man
Living Colour - Cult of Personality

    Consider buying as single:
Elton John - I'm Still Standing
Quiet Riot - Bang Your Head (Metal Health)
    Rick Springfield - Jessie's Girl
    Shinedown - Diamond Eyes
    Tears for Fears - Shout

Probably not/definitely would not buy as single:
All-American Rejects - Kids In the Street
    Blink-182 - Always
Fall Out Boy - A Little Less Sixteen Candles
Foster the People - Pumped Up Kicks
    P!nk - Raise Your Glass

This would probably change depending on my mood and my reaction to seeing the charts, but that's my current impressions. And just because I wouldn't buy some of the songs doesn't mean I necessarily actively dislike them and will refuse to play them after I get them on Blitz. Sometimes there are songs I kinda want but not enough to pay for so I'm actually glad they're in a full game setlists over something I really don't like (which describes Always and maybe a couple others from my "would not" list in this case). That means the "would consider" stuff is still actually stuff I'm pretty hyped for.

these songs I would buy in a heartbeat.

most the other songs are good but I would not buy as DLC for various reasons

Even if they were all in the last category, I would still buy the game because my enjoyment for a song changes quite a bit after I play it in RB a few times
