You might want to re-watch the movie before standing behind that statement. The movie was an entire zombie joke, by far the best zombie comedy in the very small genre.

Night of the Living Dead could have been done with Pod People like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. So technically, by your standards, Night of the Living Dead really isn't a Zombie Movie.
