Thanks Harmonix for funally giving us Sublime/311/FoS/MB20! LOVE YOU GUYS!
Now please give me The Ting Tings!
My tolerance for modern mainstream pop has increased considerably in recent years, especially upon realizing that "Party Rock Anthem" is no worse than any of the 80s guilty pleasures I listen to all the time. That said, "Sexy and I Know It" is a terrible song with an even worse video.
I seriously can't be the only one who enjoys listening to terrible music?

Prediction based on upcoming DLC songs.
Mudvayne - Dig
Rise Against - Ready to Fall
Going on based that AAR is getting a new DLC song and is going to be on Blitz. (Yeah, it's a weak prediction but Mudvayne seems likely.)
DLC Wish: More Emperor [] Daft Punk [] Violent Soho [] Madonna [] Billy Ray Cyrus [] Mercyful Fate [] Deadmau5 [] Asian Kung-Fu Generation [] Death []
There's a great deal of modern upbeat pop that would work well in Blitz and in RB in general. I wonder if this sort of chart-topper earworm is prohibitively expensive to license.
IMHO a week with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, and LMFAO would do more good for the brand than yet another week of teen-angst altmetalrock.
HMX prog by year:
2007: 2
2008: 18
2009: 4
2010: 4
2011: 16
2012: ZERO
I think it's also possibly because the forums reaction would be so bad, HMX may have to close the forums. Remember how bad the discussion thread with Rick Astley was and the bad reaction was only because of the Rick Roll youtube thing, I honestly think the reaction would be 100000000000000 times worse if pop artists like LMFAO turned up.
Wishlist (possible artists):
[4] The Killers
[1] The Cure
[7] AFI
[3] Sum 41
[11] Linkin Park
[51] Green Day
[9] The Offspring
I thought the issue with NGGYU was that it was the most requested song and most forum members expected it to be a much more significant song such as Stairway To Heaven. I think LMFAO would be a equal mix of excitement and dissapoitment among us. I know very few people who don't like LMFAO, online or not online.

[0] Katy Perry
[3] Dream Theater
[6] Shinedown
[21] Megadeth
[28] RHCP
It being most requested is arguably because of the Rick Roll youtube thing. To be honest if LMFAO came as DLC, my opinion would be "Don't like them but happy for those who do". Sure I would be disappointed (like I have been that another Linkin Park pack hasn't come yet) but there's people who like stuff like LMFAO and them being happy about DLC is just as important as me being happy about DLC.

"Sexy and I Know It" is quite possibly more awful than anything Justin Bieber ever did.
If we had, had to get a song by Tweedledee and Tweedledum, at least let it be "Party Rock Anthem".
