Completely irrelevant. That song wasn't made for that soundtrack. They licensed the song to use on the soundtrack.

This is unlike songs like Ghostbusters or the Flash soundtrack. Those are the songs that are harder to license.

What I think would be a great followup to last year's pack:

1. Soul to Squeeze
2. Can't Stop
3. Around the World
4. Venice Queen
5. Brendan's Death Song
6. Wet Sand
7. The Zephyr Song
8. My Friends

All of those were singles at one point or another except Venice Queen, and Wet Sand, which are both amazing. I know the band members aren't overly fond of the Dave Navarro era, but the label might have more say in this case (vs. playing the songs at live shows).

Also, for those who didn't know, the chili's are releasing 9 two-track singles over the next 6 months! So it's possible we could see something from those as some kind of promotion like the I'm With You pack.

I think the actual discussion of an RHCP pack is better stuck in a USL thread.

Presuming the leak is still accurate (and HMX didn't scuttle things in the meanwhile), if this is how they're re-"importing" the songs, then so be it. "20+ songs" is their way of saying "23 or 25, depending on how you look at it" without actually specifying the exact number.

Maybe they'll tweak the "five energy phrases before you can deploy overdrive" bit in Give It Away.

So Moves Like Jagger is confirmed for Dance Central 3 which means Harmonix at least has had their hands on that song.

At this point I don't think it's bad if we are going off topic some in this thread. Pretty much everyone that wanted to give a guess has and it's still related to (potential) artists on Blitz. If it wasn't for the leak and some off topic discussion this thread would probably be dead(outside the should or shouldn't they for the 2 rb2 songs).

Rock Band and Dance Central are completely different games with completely different audiences, and I think hmxhenry has said that licensing for one game doesn't make licensing for the other any easier.

I agree with this hence why I rarely put "New Divide" in my Linkin Park 6 pack predictions as it was created for Transformers 2 whereas "What I've Done" and "Iridescent" were licensed for the respective Transformers films. We already have "What I've Done" and "Iridescent" probably wouldn't happen in RB due to instrument reasons.
