If it's incomplete and filled out with random guesses, those songs are undeniably fake. If it was 100% accurate at one point but changed, Harmonix aren't going to tell us, so as far as we're concerned, it's no different from being pulled out of someone's ass.

Like the Rock Band 3 leak that said we would get Imagine and Whipping Post! 100% accuracy!

We *did* get Imagine, the song, on Rock Band 3. And the entire Imagine album as DLC, I believe.

There were actually two different RB3 leaks that people were throwing around: one came from playtesters violating an NDA, the other from someone just making stuff up.

No ****. So where's Whipping Post? And the Black Sabbath 3 pack? And Golden Road? And at least half the list?

No, it's not. Those people will be harmed in no way whatsoever if that information turns out to be wrong and they will have learned a valuable lesson about believing what they read in network forums without reliable corroboration .

    Hasn't anyone told you?

There was this leak from this forum where this guy from this country said that the leak was true but would only happen in 2013.

    Geez talk about being behind.

It is not believing a random list, though. I am not familiar with the Rock Band 3 leaked list you speak of, but I am betting it did not get censored to the extent this list did at first. I am also rather sure that what songs it did get correct were rock staples or simply made sense with the addition of keyboards. Imagine certainly fits both of those criteria. (Most of Rock Band 3's setlist, aside from the aughts and some of the nineties, were iconic songs). They could have been lucky guesses.

This list predicted Jungle Boogie. It is not even Kool and the Gang's biggest song (Celebration) and I am not sure the beat or sound would even be a predictable fit to Rock Band Blitz. Certainly the same could be said for Sing. Yes, Sing was a successful song for My Chemical Romance, but they have many, many songs that would be expected to be chosen first, especially for an arcade-style game like Blitz. I will acknowledge We Are Young is so hugely popular on the radio that it could have been guessed. But those other two?

Clearly, whoever created the leak has inside information of some sort. It is *not* a random person making random guesses, and I would not bother believing a list if I thought it was. I am generally very suspicious about such things, if *I* am convinced it could be valid, I have many more reasons than its mere existence.

If there was such a thing as a leaked list, I bet it looked something like this:
