Next up, I've done some pretty dumb things as an author for the RBN, but I can say that this announcement is without a doubt the dumbest et. Long story short: This song was coming from another authoring group, but they went defunct before they started on it. A year later, I stumble across it and after a couple emails, I'm now authoring, what has to be, "The Dumbest Song On Rock Band" by Devo Spice.
Note: HMX doesn't let us have "Rock Band" in the song titles, so it's being changed to "The Dumbest Song." Both titles are very accurate.

Finally (as far as I can remember), here's a song that sounds incredibly awesome IMO, but most people here probably won't like it. Anyways, this is There Is No Light by The Deepseas Goes, which is coming to the game.
No, wait, I'm also working with Ken Stringfellow of The Posies, REM, and Big Star. We don't know exactly what's coming, bu it'll probably be either his solo work or his work with The Disciplines. Big Star and The Posies seem to be out of the question (unless he can manage something with the live Big Star album, but that's a very long shot).

Actual final announcement: Here's my collaboration with SNMT, who has "Sex" and "PON DE FIOR" out on the RBN. This is coming to the RBN.

Fun facts about this song: Everything is played by an actual instrument except one part that's synth. There are seven layered guitar tracks; one is clean, one is me rubbing a mic against the strings, four are highly distorted playing, and one is me playing with a glass slide stuck underneath the strings. The percussion is me hitting rocks together and is only really audible in the beginning and end. The samples are from the show "Regular Show." Everything was recorded with a standard Rock Band USB microphone.
