Oddly, I agree with both of these posts. It's probably because I don't really have it in me to split hairs about whether the prog metal label should be applied to bands that kind of straddle that fence, like Children of Nova, Andromeda, and Rishloo.
Roadrunner and Century Media do not seem to be particularly RB-friendly labels. A portion of the blame for Rock Band's prog metal shortage can probably be attributed to that fact. (Not necessarily a huge portion, mind you.) Somebody more foolish than myself might say something like: "Harmonix is probably talking with those labels about licensing some Nightwish songs since they're so popular on the Facebook app, so maybe they'll try and snag some more Opeth while they're at it." But I know better.

Here is also one Prog fan (with many subgenres). So there is a huge gap to fullfill, form '60 prog rock to new prog metal subgenre like Djent. I agree that RBN have some pretty good and qulity prog songs but there is more that definitely deserve to be included, just to name a few; Riverside, Adagio, Textures, Indukti, King Crimson, Porcupine Tree, The Mars Volta, Pain of Salvation, Haken, Edge of Sanity, Fair to Midland, Camel, (early) Genesis, Alter Enigma, Leprous, Wolverine, Anglagard, Redemption, Phideaux, Peach, etc. ...and not to forget greats like Pink Floyd and Tool, and some that are not prog but are amazing like Arc of Ascent (doom metal), Be'lakor (melodic death). I think that some of bands I named are relatively unknown so use youtube, some may be surprised
Hope that in future we will see more prog in RBN and some of well known greats in main DLC
