    On A Mission

I'm trying to find bands that sounds similar to AFI/Green Day on RBN. I've been going through RBN and have found some i really enjoy.
Has anyone found any bands that sound similar to these 2 bands?
Thanks for any suggestions you can provide!

So you're looking for the bridge between punk and alternative?

Or are we looking at the 'old days' of both those bands?

Old Days/New Days, don't matter. Like all their CDs both bands.

I would definitely recommend Ultra Saturday and Goin' Places.

When I heard Ultra Saturday's "Dawn of the Condoms" it sounded like the best Blink 182 song I'd never heard.

I just bought my first track by Goin' Places, "Relationship Sneakers," and I can't get it out of my head.
Who doesn't love a good album sort? Fill in those 3's HMX!

    ALT/INDIE WANTED:
    Radiohead - Pavement - National - Arcade Fire - Wilco - Decemberists

Probably Throughout by Done Lying Down (also one of the oldest songs on RBN-from 1995). Or "Shut Up" by The Early Strike (though that's more blink-182 pop-punk). Also maybe check out "Delaware Are You? I Don't Know Alaska." by Safari So Good. That's all I can really think of.
[] Dizzy Mizz Lizzy [] Dover [] Guano Apes [] More Miley Cyrus
[] The Rasmus [] The Veronicas [] More Volbeat

Wow just looked up the Early strike, and the lead singer actually died of cancer in 2011 at the age of 22. Really sad!

There's a track called "Lady Luck" by Hillcrest that's coming up EVENTUALLY. You should check it out.
    It's amazing.
