I'll do this. I don't know if I'm that good of a singer, but I'll try to contribute. I can honestly say, that for a song about Summer, the lyrics are fine (but I'm a lyrics snob, so you shouldn't go just by my opinion).
I went to Harmonix and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Instead, they gave me a cheese pizza and told me that I could buy one pepperoni slice every week.

Ok, I will upload some guide notes tomorrow to get a good idea of what the vocals should sound like, but you can change things a little if you want. Just not too much to the fact where it sounds like a total genre change, because that would be not good.

    1) Must have a good singing voice
    2) Must not sound like a dying cat

I'd love to participate but I need to use my studio time for my own stuff.

This is the best I could provide. In these links are either an MP3 of the instrumental with the guide notes playing (The MacBook has been having problems since yesterday, so I had to use REAPER.), and at the end, the guide notes for each part of the harmony, or you could use the MIDI if you have a MIDI player. If the chorus doesn't seem right, you can tell me. You can sing at least one of those parts you feel comfortable with. One last thing, as mentioned, if you don't feel comfortable singing a certain part, you can alter it a little, but make sure it fits the song.

    MP3:

    MIDI:
    http://errortunes.natelair.com/music.../summerfun.mid

You can submit your singing part. Even though my Mac is having problems, I can still put the vocals together in REAPER.

    RULES FOR SUBMITTING SINGING PART:
    1. Sing as much of the song as you feel you should. Don't overwhelm yourself trying to sing every harmony part of the chorus the exact way I put it, it's all up to you as long as it sounds decent.
    2. No special sound effects.
    3. No loud background noises.
    4. The link you send can be in anyway you want it to be sent, but just make sure it isn't submitted on a website with viruses or anything, cause that wouldn't be good.
    5. Have fun. I just didn't put this rule to put this rule, I just want to know everyone is enjoying the project, and not feel like I'm forcing anyone do this.

If you want to submit via email: nathanielwhitlock@yahoo.com
