Universally Loved?

I remember when that picture was both funny and not overused.

Anyway, where I live if you know Pink Floyd you have to love them. Apparently I'm the only heathen who thinks they're overrated. But yeah, not counting me they're universally loved to those who have heard of them before (not that many, but still).

The E chord is universally loved and respected. Any band you like, I guarantee they have a song with an E chord.

The A and G chords are pretty high up there too. C, maybe a little less universally loved, though still a big hit with the keyboard players. F and Bb, the popularity slips a little more.

Now, is any song or band that uses these chords universally loved? Doubtful. Name any band and I guarantee you some self-professed music fan doesn't like them. Shoot, I don't like Nirvana, though I have warmed up a little more to them over the years.

Its not that you guys dont like CCR or The Beatles its that you(Cipher) think Fortunate Son sounds like the beatles.

And I also dont like Floyd.

Talking Heads are rather meh and also overrated in my opinion. I agree that pizza is universally loved

I don't agree with Pink Floyd being universally liked. I do love Pink Floyd, but I know a lot of people that have either only heard of them or think it's too boring.

Of coarse, the latter mostly consists of teenagers at my high school, but they still have opinions. I just don't tend to agree with them, thus why I never get along with prep girls.
