The Smithereens, Catch-22/Streetlight Manifesto, The Bongos, Dramarama, The Rascals, Funkadelic, The Fugees, The Angels, Atomic Biatchwax, Southside Johnny & The Astbury Jukes, Bouncing Souls, Nudeswirl, frickin' Kool & The Gang and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons...the Isley Brothers lived in New Jersey at the time they were discovered, too, though they're originally from Ohio.

Good mentions, I enjoy a bunch of those. But I'm shocked that nobody has brought up Danzig or Misfits, easily 2 of the best bands from New Jersey.

I'm from North Carolina and we got nothing...and that's the way we like it.

Can't stand Bruce Springsteen, even a little bit. Sounds like a lawnmower running over a coconut.

And I listen to everything.
