Question about Rock band 3 region/dlc

I bought a brand new copy of rock band 3 from amazon.co.uk (sub seller welovegames) and i just got it but the printed manual and panflet material is in german (i am in england) now i haven't tried to load the game, the first question is does it matter, i mean i cant read the manual but in the game can i set the language to english and will i be able to download the england DLC stuff, is the DLC a Europe thing or is it Germany for one set and England for another. Hope i have made my questions clear

If you're on the Xbox 360, Rock Band DLC works worldwide on any version of the game, in any language, no matter which XBL marketplace you download it from.

If you're on the Wii or PS3, the DLC is region-locked, so you have to get DLC from the same region as the disc you're using (North America or Europe/Oz/NZ). Germany and the UK are both in the EU/OZ/NZ zone, so you're fine as far as compatibility goes.

No idea on the menus, as I'm in North America, but I'm sure one of the European players will chime in soon enough.

Languagewise, I don't believe there's any significant difference between the German and English DLC, since there's nothing to translate outside of song description.

However, the disc itself ought to be the same, and even if the game is German and your DLC is English, you should be able to play it without any trouble.

You could have just downloaded the game off the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Don't forget also that if a new main RB game comes out (i.e. RB4), there's bound to be a RB3 export which requires the code on the back of the instruction manual.
