Xbox has $60 games too, all of which are also available on discs.

It wasn't that long ago. I remember the days when everyone hated the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC and the Spice Girls. I even vaguely recall a time when everyone hated New Kids on the Block.

Maybe we shouldn't be expecting the last 10 songs to be big $$$ artists ?

(In the PS3 world, we see $60 titles all the time. Even the Vita has some $40 games in the store. So I kinda grin about you guys thinking $20 is crazy talk for DLC)
Well start thanking Microsoft for that ceiling, otherwise you would be paying more.

You're misremembering. He wanted the Braid premium dashboard theme to be free. Not the game itself. I assume for both games and themes, Microsoft would charge the company for the privilege of having it available for free, and that's why the few free things we see are generally product advertisements.

Interestingly enough, I was going to mention Braid for a different reason. At the time it came out, $15 was considered a really high price for a downloadable game (most of the XBLA games released before that were $5 or $10) but of course since then $15 has become fairly standard and even $20 isn't rare. I'd be surprised if Blitz was less than $20, since all that music licensing can't be cheap... It could even be $25, and make way for another gradual rise of the average price.

So you're condescending in addition to naive.

Sort Of. Last I knew Harmonix never ruled out the idea of releasing it on the WiiU and I wanted a Xbox 360 but my step-siblings had a Wii at their house so to make things easier, my mom bought me a Wii....
