Heck yes I would buy it.
Yeah right no wa...okay okay yes I would.
No, get off my lawn.
I barely even know what's going on on pop radio anymore. Although I was last up to date last year when I was interning.

"And onward now, and on forever, all great things to come"
Same here. I don't know when it happened, but I rarely listen to the radio anymore. Most of the newer bands (post year 2000) bands that I've been exposed to has come from them either being on a RB disk or as DLC. Otherwise, I generally listen to stuff I already knew from the 1970s through the end of the 1990s, and the bands of those times that are still releasing music (Foo Fighters, Rush, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Green Day, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Pearl Jam, etc...)
"Punk rock should mean freedom, playing whatever you want,
As sloppy as you want as long as it's good and it has passion" Kurt Cobain
Ugh, "pop" music. Agreed that this would be heavenly kitsch for singers but what abut the rest of us? There's virtually no musical complexity at all in "Call Me Maybe" on any level. Any non-singer who downloaded Gaga's Packs knows what they're in for here.
If there was a music game which eliminates the virtual instrument playing, this is the perfect poster song. Oh... wait...
Except some people actually want easy guitar (in my case, pro guitar) songs, or something they can sing along to (seeing how vocals are just as much a part of the game as anything else).
I for one support the notion of more Way Too Catchy/So Bad It's Good/Delightfully Cheesy/Hilariously Stupid/Extremely Overplayed modern pop songs in Rock Band, and this song fits about every one of them...
patiently awaits Gotye, fun., Grouplove, among others...
