and Ladies of course...
I'm sure I'm not the first to wonder about this, and I'm sure its been discussed at length but damned if I can find any reference to it.
The slider. The cursed slider.
Clearly there's no obvious compatibility between the touch-sensitive slider on your standard-issue GH:WT controller, and the solo frets on the RB guitar. But dammit, there should be. There's gotta be a way to modify the internal hardware to make the slider emulate the solo frets. And I know some electronics whiz out there has tinkered and found a way to do it, so if anyone knows of a way to do it, and knows the components necessary, do as Barney the dinosaur teaches and share. Please?
I should also mention that my GH controller is the Logitech fancy wooden model from some years back, for PS3. I can see it's gonna be hell to disassemble but I just thought I'd put the question out there, to see if it can be done. I got spoiled by the weight and feel of the wood body and neck so I'm loathe to purchase a plastic, albeit fully functional RB guitar.
Thanks in advance, fellow rockers.
