I think we age better now anyway. I was watching the show All in the Family and was surprised to find out Archie and Edith were supposed to be in their early/mid 40's when the show started. I would have sworn it was more like late 50's at best.

I've hit the age where I mentally still think of myself as young, but the aches & pains and early bed times remind me of my true age from time to time (41yrs young).

What I hate is that at a younger age I could eat whatever I wanted and stay the same weight. I could literally be a pig.

Now I eat a Snickers bar and gain 30 pounds. (Which defies the laws of nature yet happens none the less)
