    RIP - Andy Griffith

Andy Griffith passed away July 3 at 7am: http://www.daytonscw.com/dpps/entert...c-home_4226631

This is one star that I have grown up watching... From his days being a sherrif to those when he was a lawyer... and all the movies.

Awww this is sad. I use to wake up every morning on my summer breaks and watch the Andy Griffith show and the Beverly Hillbillies.

I thought he was already dead. But I guess I was thinking of Don Knotts.

He surely will be missed..."No Room for Sergeants" and "Daddy and Them" are must sees.

My Dad would whistle to the theme song for TV show every time it came on.

Yeah, Don Knotts died about six years ago. Andy visited with him a few hours before he died.

Very sad, great actor and from what I've read over the years, a great all around person.

Don Knotts, Darren Mcgavin, and Dennis Weaver all died the same weekend.

I'll miss Andy, I think as a kid I saw every episode of The Andy Griffith show.
