Just cause you're pretty doesn't mean you go straight to that clique either. My group of friends had a bunch of the prettiest ones and we were the kids you saw at the library or having LAN parties. Because youre all at the same school, all cliques woll interact so its not just entirely one group or the other. Every school has different groups, saying yours is any different is a lie. I'm thinking you didn't really partake with much of any oft outside of yours, as you clearly said you didn't like the parties.

The more students, the more clique the school is.

There were 300+ people in my class and we were like the real life Breakfast Club. Of course, I went to school in an area that had a lot of diversity, so I suppose if you live in an area with less diversity there will be less cliqueness, but you have to have something? Every high school has some sort of clique business going on. It won't be a high school without it.

I've always stated that the popularity tiers in my school are beyond warped since there's over 5k students to keep track of, nobody really cares about who is popular and who isn't, and 95% of the students are too busy studying every moment of their lives and the other 5% either stopped giving a **** about everything or too stoned to think clearly about anything.

There's no real measure to popularity, besides how well known your group is, but since groups are easily available to everyone it doesn't really matter. It's more like a web of people instead of groups, to be honest.

As for myself, I belonged to a few groups of people, and my main one was the one which would be "high tier" in any school that has an established and organized hierarchy/food chain of popularity: the band/the stoners. Most well known, beloved, etc. But it's all meaningless, since nobody cares about how well known one group is to another.

There's about 5400 students in my school with about 1200 seniors. We had to have 2 graduations.

Jeez, man that is bad. My school had about 1400 people altogether and I thought that was too overcrowded. Your town should build another high school or something. I don't even think the college I go to has that many students.

It's not a zoned high school and it's not in a town
And my school is meant to be that big. Every year they're admitting more and more students.

It's actually not THAT bad (I'm the only one who thinks so), because there's never 5k students walking down the same hallway at the same time. The elevators are always crowded, though.

My high school senior class was somewhere near 450 students. We all knew who was going to be prom queen long before the prom. She was great look, popluar, and surprisingly a pretty decent person.
