What is your favorite 4th of July Memory?

All fireworks are annoying trite.

I am not much of a fan of 4th of July... too many people at the different spots...

but I remember fondly as a kid, before my parents got divorced, sitting with my four brothers on top of my dad's van watching the fireworks... now it is impossible to see any fireworks from the house

the only other awesome time was when we were at on of the big show areas and it started raining... it was awesome

2 cities came together and spent $100,000 on the fireworks alone.
Finale (that picture) was the only part i could really see the best.
There was just no way i was getting myself stuck in 4 hour traffic to get a picture lol.
