Speaking of which, I'm going camping this weekend, so I doubt I'll get any done. I'll be back as soon as possible with more, though.
Sorry for the constant delays, life gets in the way sometimes :/

Yeah, you can keep requesting. I'm keeping tabs on all of them and trying to make sure that I give everyone some of the songs they request down. I can't say that I'll do all of them in one go, though (sorry to disappoint people who've made packs), but I'll do my best to try to get them on as often as I can.

Along with some new requests, I will bump up the old ones (they're colored in blue).
Allister - Somewhere On Fullerton
Authority Zero - Super B****
Box Car Racer - There Is
Fenix Tx - Jolly Green Dumbass
Goldfinger - Radio
Guttermouth - Whiskey
Home Grown - Shirley D. Pressed
Strung Out - Just Like Me
The Suicide Machines - High Anxiety
Sugarcult - Los Angeles
Unwritten Law - Harmonic
The Vandals - I'm Becoming You
Edit: Cipher, I hope you don't save links because I wanted to change the Fenix Tx link from Riverfenix (same band, they just had to change their name and redo the CD they originally did under the name "Riverfenix") to the song actually by them as Fenix Tx.

I’m glad to be back and I’m back in time for another Rock Band Blitz Supplements Pack and some random singles! In fact... THIS LAST THE CURE SONG MARKS THE END OF DISINTEGRATION! Now let’s see how The Cure ends their massive album... at the very end! For now, let’s start with the supplements! Here comes...
Rock Band Blitz Supplements Pack 02 and Mixed Singles First Impressions
Let’s start with THUNDERBIRD! Mainly because I can’t wait to fight him in Zelda II.
Whoa. It starts with some soft keys and some pretty sweet vocals. Weird. I expected a blazing guitar and shrieking vocals because of the title alone :I
But it’s not half bad. The keys and vocals do a good job mixing together, but the guitar and drums could be a bit more interesting. And now some harmonies... This is probably the complete opposite of what I was expecting
Although disappointed, it’s not a bad song. I’m enjoying it somewhat, but it definitely lacks the spark of interest to make me totally engaged in the vocals and lyrics. And I appreciate the “freedom bird” angle done in a non terrible way like Free Bird (which is one of my least favorite songs ever). The song does drag on for a long time, though. Which is surprising because it’s not that long. I guess it is quite repetitive :/
Oh well. It’s alright.
Next song up is Stockholm Syndrome by Muse!
No wait, Blink-182!
It starts off with a strange guitar riff and some strange drums, and it all adds up... strangely to say the least
The instruments don’t mix really well and the vocals don’t add anything at all. Holy cow. Every part of this song is just stacked onto one another, nothing is woven it, it just feels vomited out and thrown to the jungle. The riffs aren’t pleasant to listen to, and the drum pattern manages to irritate me. And the vocals are really difficult to hear and add to that that they’re not that good to begin with, then you have a recipe for disaster. I’m no fan of Muse’s Stockholm Syndrome, but it’s nowhere near as bad as this song. Just... wow. At least it’s short so I don’t need to keep writing about it.
The third song from my listening will be Taxi Dancing! I can just imagine cute little taxi cars beeping and dancing along in the streets. Tee hee.
The guitar riff is pretty fun for the intro, but the vocals are... not so great. His voice just falls so flat. The girl’s voice is quite great, though. Hopefully the song focuses more on hers, than his. As for the keys... They’re pretty ba- ARGH! Their voices do NOT work well together. They have no chemistry at all, both voices just go out at the same time and they don’t connect into something enjoyable. And on top of their voices not working together, even when they’re alone, the song itself is pretty boring to listen to. I can’t imagine taxis dancing along meerily to this
Not fun to listen to at all
Next song is the obnoxiousy titled Fallout Boy track! Well... two of my favorite FOB songs is on this album, so let’s see if this makes it a 3rd!
The guitar introduces the song and the intro... is kinda catchy, but also it’s pretty obnoxious to listen to. The vocals are as solid, just like I expected them to be, but nothing pops out from the song just like the other songs by them I enjoy. There’s no insanely memorable riffs or vocal quirks, which is what I find Fallout Boy does best. But even though this song is an average song by them, it’s still quite good. The harmonies support the vocals well and the riffs occasionally tweak into something pretty cool. Oh snap, the bass is doing something pretty weird now! It’s pretty interesting, and now the vocals are having their moment in the sun and it’s pretty solid. And it’s over. Not bad.
Last of the pack is Buried Alive! I do enjoy me some Avenged Sevenfold, so let’s see if I like this song!
The guitar starts the song off and it’s pretty interesting to say the least! And it progresses nicely, but I do hope it kicks off like Avenged Sevenfold songs normally do. And there’s some kick right now, but it’s not as strong as I hoped it would be :/
But it’s still pretty great and I’m enjoying it. The vocals are great, and I’m totally digging them. They don’t age very well throughout the song, but they’re still quite solid, so I’m not complaining. Ok, this song is starting to go on longer than it has to, but I’ll roll with it because it’s starting to pick up now. Oh snap! The guitar kicks it up a notch and now it’s all cool! It’s still not as good as Avenged Sevenfold manages to be, but it’s a lot more interesting than the meat of the first half of the song. It still manages to stretch on, but at least it’s not boring and it tries to do something cool. And it ends so suddenly... oh well.
Now the singles!
The Takedown is up first!
Guitar shredding opens the song and it sounds... very good, actually! The drums complement the guitar riffs really well and I’m digging the chemistry between them. And now the guitar toned down a bit for the vocals and the drums changed patterns and the harmonies sound AMAZING! Seriously, they add so much to the vocals. Their placement, their pitch, and their juxtaposition all work wonders. And those galloping drums sound so good. So damn good. And now after some nice choruses, there’s an intense and awesome guitar solo that’s followed by... peace. It definitely works well. It also ends quite satisfactory, so I’m pretty pleased about it.
And now... for the final song of Disintegration...
HERE COMES...
UNTITLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!
An instrument comes in and it’s quite decent, I suppose. It’s a pretty sweet way to end an album and now the drums come in and a pretty snazzy guitar. The drums are really special with timed spazzes and a pretty sweet pattern to make me really interested in the song. And now the vocals! They’re pretty sweet for the last song, a farewell if you will. The song is very atmospheric and engaging, but I don’t expect anything less from The Cure. The song is going by quite effortlessly for me, but I don’t hold it against it. I did just listen to 7 new songs in a row and I’m quite tired, and this song just lets you soak in all of the fuzzy feelings it’s trying to portray. The guitars are jamming quite vividly now and I would say something about the repetitiveness of the song, but somehow it works quite well. The atmosphere wouldn’t feel the same, I believe. And... there ends... Disintegration...
This week overall... was pretty lousy. I mean there were some good songs, but the rest was just so mediocre or unlikable. Blargh. Oh well! There’s always next time ;D
This week in terms of songs:
The Takedown
Untitled
Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends
Buried Alive
Thunderbird
Taxi Dancing
Stockholm Syndrome
Thoughts on Disintegration:
What an album this is! Ranging from sheer brilliance to extraordinary boredom, this album really does one thing well: giving you emotions and playing around with them. The atmosphere of almost all of the songs is top notch and I just get lost in the worlds that they envelop. Although I can’t imagine myself listening to these songs in the nearby future, I can’t deny their power or their quality. The keys of all the songs are just fantastic to listen to, but some of the vocals fall flat. Every other instrument is iffy depending on the song, but the instruments are blended well in order to create a great setup for the atmosphere. A pretty darn good album.
Rankings (Yeah, I’ve changed my mind over some over time and repeated listens):
Fascination Street
Disintegration
Plainsong
Untitled
Lovesong
Pictures of You
Closedown
Homesick
The Same Deep Water As You
Prayers For Rain
Lullaby
Last Dance
Blue is MUST buy
Green is will buy eventually
Yellow is will probably buy/high chance of enjoying it later
Orange is will listen to later to see if my opinion has changed
Red is probably not going to bother ever again

Sad that blink-182 is down at the bottom =/
I'm kind of hoping that you just listened to a bad mp3 (sometimes bad quality songs can kill song), but I am not sure =/
_______
Anyway, I got another song I want to request... I am just iffy about requesting it because on one hand it is very awesome. It is an "epic" punk song, but it is also a political song... From what I have read on the forums (I lurk a lot) I think you might not like the lyrics a bit...
NOFX - The Decline (18m: 22s)
Take the request or not, I don't care...
Also this site derped, and I had to rewrite this post =/
Edit: In case you are curious, here's some background information on the song.
