Rate the Films in Any Filmography!

    Ranking Scale:

    Love
    Like
    Neutral
    Dislike
    Hate
Basically this is similar to the "Rate the Albums in Any Discography!" thread over in History of Rock, this one applies to directors and actors mostly. I don't expect anyone doing anything else for sure. I'm mostly plugging this here because 1) I don't think we have this thread, and 2) I've been doing independent rankings anyway. OH! and if you haven't seen a film, why not leave that one out so you are only rating the ones you have seen.

    I'll start:

    Adam Sandler

    Reign Over Me
    Punch-Drunk Love
    Spanglish

    Funny People
    The Wedding Singer

    Bulletproof
    The Longest Yard

    50 First Dates
    Bedtime Stories
    Click

    Mr. Deeds

    Just Go with It
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
    Billy Madison
    Eight Crazy Nights
You Don't Mess with the Zohan

    Vampire's Kiss
    Kiss of Death
    The Weather Man
    World Trade Center
    It Could Happen to You
    Guarding Tess
    Moonstruck
    Trapped in Paradise
    Ghost Rider
    Valley Girl

    Winona Ryder

    Being John Malkovich

While I wouldn't agree with every one of your choices, I do have to say that I think this is a fantastic idea for a thread!
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.

i HATED 50 first dates, that'd get 1/10 from me.
Billy Madison will always remain adam sandler's best film for me.
The rest i couldn't watch more than once.

I'd have Matchstick Men a lot higher for Nicolas Cage.

I don't think I've watched any one actor/actress' full filmography, I'm close with a few, but I'll just do the Coen Bros. since I have seen all their movies.

    The Big Lebowski
    Raising Arizona
    Burn After Reading
    Miller's Crossing
    No Country For Old Men

    Fargo
    True Grit
    O Brother, Where Art Thou?
    The Man Who Wasn't There
    Barton Fink

    Intolerable Cruelty
    Blood Simple

    The Ladykillers
    The Hudsucker Proxy

O Brother Where Art Thou lower than Burn After Reading?

    I simply disagree. There.

The first 10 there are all pretty much right on top of one another as far as where I'd rank them. They are all phenomenal movies. If you ask me tomorrow, those first 10 could be completely different.

Oh. I find O Brother Where Out Though a clever take on The Odyssey (and a very funny film), but I didn't enjoy Burn After Reading too much. Maybe if I watch it again...

Scorcese (The ones I've seen, at least):

    Goodfellas
    Taxi Driver

    The Departed
    Casino
    Raging Bull
    Cape Fear

    Gangs of New York
    The Aviator
    Hugo

I definitely plan on seeing his whole filmography, though.
