yeah, my bf won a bit more than that. but there isn't really that much competition here.
basically every tournament was between him and 1 other guy.

Hell, half of the tourney he could just stop mid-song and still win...

I won a "Busch Lite" t-shirt once. Only 5 of us showed up to the "tournament", but we had a great time hanging out. But in most tournaments (all of them?), you have to show up in person and show you can make the score live, with witness, on an unhacked machine. If you can? Great! You've earned a prize for your awesomeness. If you can't come close to the disputed scores that you make in private ...

One of the sports games had a huge prize for throwing a perfect game, but didn't you have to record yourself doing it? Do any accused cheaters ever pop up with videos of themselves actually performing the task, thus cleaning up their reputation? Have ANY scores ever been cleared away after obvious shenanigans were reported to Microsoft or Sony (perhaps via Harmonix?)?

Whether RB, Call of Duty, Gears of War or whatever you're playing, Answer me this.. What does being top ranked get you? A car? New house? cash?.... in 1 year..err tomorrow, who will even remember or even CARE to remember who was no 1 on ANY sopng with ANY insturment.

Can Anyone tell me the top ranked HALO player? no... How about CoD's highest ranking player?... No? Because no one cares to remember! If this person cheated to get the score, so what! give him his prize and move on. If Harmonix/Microsoft doesn't police their games to find and remove the exploits, then there is no uise complaining.
I could argue that voxing the vocals could be considered cheating since you, as a player, really aren't doing anything.
Would I want to be no1 ranked on a video game... Not really. Shows you can play a video game better than alot of people.. Not really saying anything tho. Would I prefer to be the world's best ACTUAL guitar,bass, drum player.. yeah.

With all due respect...I would want to be ranked #1 on a video game. Even if no one else ever remembered my name, or cared. I would know...and I would care.
