Is the Rock Band version of The Doors song Riders On the Storm a previously released version, or a version created exclusively for Rock Band?

It's the original version from L.A. Woman. Why do you ask?

Original to my knowledge. I have the L.A. Woman album and it's sounds exactly the same to me.

Different mixing.
You can hear it during midpoint and at the end of the song.
You'll notice the differences if you're a serious listener.

I grew up listening to the Doors from their CD 'The Best of the Doors' which contained the censored version of, Break on Through (to the other side)
The "she gets high" line was removed. Many years later when I finally heard the version that did include that line, I honestly didn't like it. I still don't. Just thought I'd share that.
Anyways, that CD also contained Riders on the Storm. And from what I noticed the ROck Band version is that exact same version. Not sure if that's also the same version from L.A. Woman though.
I knew it was different from the version from that Need For Speed game I once played!

It might just be the instrument mixing that the game uses for songs. Increasing guitar volume, keys volume, etc.
AsianSteev: if you can read this, put more Ska songs on the RBN! Please?
Gamertag: Demitri Theodus
Certain ascending guitar part has been taken out around the midpoint of the song (it's not charted), it is quite audible on the record while it's not present in master track on RB (like I said, somebody who is not extremely famiiliar with the music won't notice it).
End of the song (RB3 version) has all instruments blended in still going while record fades most of them except for keys/guitar/rain backing track.
