    Sonicnerd23's Marvelous Months O' DLC

I had originally planned to do DLC for my RB4 setlist in a more traditional fashion - posting a new thread every week with DLC updates. However, I got lazy, and as a result, that didn't come to be. Therefore, I've decided to try something new: Getting a month's worth of DLC out of me at one point in time and then coming back some time later to add another. Consider this a sort of companion thread to my setlist.

I haven't heard the majority of this stuff, but I would buy Amanda, Play That Funky Music, and maybe Genius of Love.

It's been said Let Me Take You Home Tonight has missing masters, so as much as we would love to have it, afraid that song isn't coming. As for the Deep Purple pack, slide Burn in there and I would love it.

Huh, you don't say. I guess I'll replace it with "Feelin' Satisfied". Wanna keep some degree of realism, after all.

First off, your weeks are a little large. HMX rarely releases more than 4 songs in a week. Second, not a huge fan of your picks. Maiden gets ANOTHER huge pack of songs most people won't care about (seriously, who listens to Iron Maiden's new stuff?!) and Pearl Jam only gets a 3 pack?! Pearl Jam has much bigger hits than Animal and Do The Evolution. No Betterman, Daughter, Not For You, Dissident, World Wide Suicide, Last Kiss? Those are all way bigger hits. Also, a Deep Purple pack without Hush?! A Skynyrd pack without Gimme Back My Bullets?

Only tracks I would pick up would be Flagpole Sitta, Yellow Ledbetter, 12:51, and Play That Funky Music.
    775 Tracks: RB + RB2 + LRB + AC/DC + GDRB + Blitz + 22 RBN + 423 DLC

I understand that, but the weeks after main game releases are typically large. See September 2008, November 2010. I do promise that I'll make the releases smaller in the future.

Perhaps the people who brought "Be Quick or Be Dead" to the #2 position on the UK singles charts back in 1992. The people who helped give every Maiden album from No Prayer onward gold certifications in several countries. The people who've filled up entire arenas even to this day whenever Maiden comes around. The people whose sales made The Final Frontier debut at #4 on the Billboard 200. Iron Maiden fans are a devoted bunch, and they are many. Not to mention, there are people playing Rock Band who will buy songs based on how fun/challenging the charts are, and Maiden's charts have certainly been fun/challenging.

Dissident is already on my RB4 setlist. When picking the Pearl Jam songs, the ones that stuck out in my head personally were Yellow Ledbetter for its amazing Hendrix-like guitar, Do the Evolution for its memorable music video, and anything off of Vs., as that album is just as good as Ten. Ultimately, I settled on Animal out of personal preference. In hindsight, I should have given Pearl Jam more than just a three-pack, I agree, but these songs still would have made it.

Though their cover of "Hush" is well-known and amazing, typically, the most well-known (and liked) lineup of Deep Purple is Mk. II. As such, I decided to take several key songs produced by that lineup, ones that are both well-known and are a good demonstration of the band's talent. As for the Skynyrd pack lacking "Gimme Back My Bullets", it's a good song, but not the best Skynyrd choice, at least in my opinion. Besides, I already had two popular Skynyrd songs in the pack. "I Ain't the One" is a deep cut, but it's certainly one of the better tracks on their debut, I feel.

I wouldn't put Flagpole Sitta under Punk. I would say either Indie Rock, or Pop-Rock

Queen - The March Of The Black Queen

Any other pack without this song is just a disgrace as a pack. Ogre Battle is still good.

I actually was debating putting that song in the pack. Ultimately, I went for Ogre Battle because it's at least a bit more well known than March of the Black Queen while still being relatively awesome.
