Ok, that answered my question, which really boiled down to did you personally think the album was that great, or did you overvalue it due to the opinions of the critics/experts.

Thanks for being patient enough to understand my question.

    You're completely wrong.

I'm not willing to debate people who make up random facts, especially when it's well documented how wrong you are. Go read "When Giants Walked the Earth" it'll save me the effort of arguing with you.
Here is my final response, as you are making up things left and right because you do not like Led Zeppelin. My previous posts about Keith Moon and how the name Led Zeppelin came about is 100 % accurate and verified by the author of the book you so called read. Now we can continue going back and forth but I am bored of your ignorance when you said I was completely wrong about Beck and Page not being in the same band. Ever hear of the YARDBIRDS??? Right there shows you don't have a freakin clue.....

Yeah, I've never heard of the Yardbirds. Except for you know the 5 or what times I already referenced them.

And obviously I'm making things up, except for I can source what I said. I'd tell you to go read the book, but obviously I need to point it out to you.

Jimmy has always claimed that it was simply "a coincidence" that the same song should end up on both albums; that he hadn't realizd Beck had already recorded a version for his album, even though Peter Grant had given him an advance copy of Truth weeks before it's release.

    ...
In reality, Jeff Beck was the one who didn't know what was going on. The first he knew of his friend Jimmy's descion to record the same track with his new group was when he played it for him. According to Beck 'He said, "Listen to this, Listen to Bonzo, this guy called John Bonham that I've got." And so I said I would, and my heart just sank when I heard "You Shook Me". I looked at him and said "Jim, What?" and the tears were coming out with anger

Over the years, Page and Zepplin's appropriation of other artists' material was to become a longstanding criticism. Rightly so, one might argue when one considers just how many times they would be accused of the offence over the course of their careers.

Instead it was Grant who reminded him of Keith Moon's joke about going down like a Lead Zeppelin. Both men agreed it was a neat idea. Just one further snag: they would have to drop the 'a' from Lead. 'I played around with the letters,' said Grant, 'doodling in the office and realized "Led" looked a lot simpler - and it was all that light and heavy irony.'

Man I can't help but read that as Grant came up with the name.. Hmm maybe I wasn't wrong.

For the record I never said I disliked Zepp. I just said they had recieved some critism. Which they obviously did, you're the one who got all bent because I dared speak of your gods.

Go grab a copy of the book, heck anyone can, and prove I quoted it word for word. But I wouldn't bother responding either if I was so wrong.

About Facebook, I work in multichannel promotion: we have clients with a Facebook portfolio ten times bigger than other competitors' and a circulation and popularity of their products 1/5 of their competitors products. Again, not saying this is how Foster the People's page works, but FB numbers need to be assessed carefully because likes are a commodity and as such can be and are bought on a regular basis.
That's true, both points. Chumbawamba was never more than a two-hit band ("Amnesia" was a minor hit) on the charts. However, the success of "Tubthumping" brought them national fame, success, abundant licensing opportunities, public appearances, the butt of punchlines on late night television and direct-to-DVD movies, etc. - in much the same vein as FTP. The difference, though, is that FTP's work is considerably more accessible than Chumbawamba's, and FTP have already proven themselves to be the Next Big Thing while Chumbawamba has always been something of a cult band with a fluke hit.

It's an interesting point, about the FB likes. Social media is such a new beast; I do agree with you there.

If Peter Grant was REMINDED about Keith Moon's joke about going down like a Lead Zeppelin how does Grant come up with the name if Moon said it FIRST???? Man your dumber than dirt
