Question Please help!! Im thinking about hooking up my DD502 mkii drum kit to rock band.

Sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong forum, but i'm new to the forum aspect of this site... anyway, i want to hook up my DD502 MKii electronic drumset to my xbox 360 via midi input.. i need to know what i need to do this.
Do i need some sort of adapter? Is it easier to just get a ghwt set and hook it up through that? Also if i do that since it only has 6 sensors (snare, hi hat, crash, tom1, tom2, bass) will i be able to use only 6 pads on my drum set? Can i use all the pads on my drum kit, cymbals too?

Haha i apologize for all the questions, im just confused on what i need exactly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Uh, just use the official MIDI adapter. At worst, you might have to reconfigure which MIDI notes each trigger outputs, but that's about it.

Yeah you will need to configure a new drumset and save it to your brain
because the game expects the snare to send number 64, etc.

There are threads on here for the right numbers.

Try searching for "Midi codes alesis" or "midi codes simmons"... I forget.

Pretty sure the simmons and ddrum have similar brains.
