Best solution: turn the keyboard on and off again.

    Really, it's that easy.
Yep. I'll give that a go next time I play. There's no on/off switch so it means pulling a battery.
Surely every Xbox Madcatz keyboard can't do this. Are you saying they do?

There's an on/off switch on the bottom, I believe near the handle.

I had the keys stop working on my PS3, and had to replace the batteries. I store it sideways though, so not a lot of dust settles on the keys themselves, which may prevent the dust thing.

I understand from another thread that PS3 version does and Xbox doesn't.
So, to reiterate my question, do all Xbox Madcatz keyboards do this when you swap players?

To turn off a xbox controller (keyboard) you gold down the xbox button until a menu pops up so you can turn off the controller or the system.

Beats pulling the battery. Y'know, I SHOULD probably know this but I've never had cause to do it (apart from this). I'll give it a go too.

Can no one else can illuminate me on the Xbox keyboard glitch? Is it universal and consistent? My Google Fu has not returned any clear consensus.

Well I had a key die once. It was just one key though... I then bought a second keyboard form Amazon when it was on sale for $20.

I have an XBox Madcatz keyboard. Use the XBox button.

XBox Button > Turn off Controller, XBox Button again

A much quicker, easier fix than anything else, really.
    meh
