Hate to break it to ya, but both of their tracks are RBN1 tracks, which ,I believe, are no longer being ported over to the PS3.

Exactly, and tracks from Individual Thought Patterns on Bass would be great to play as well, like The Philosopher and Mentally Blind. I'd take any song from any album and would pay any price. That's how bad I want Death.

Some songs that would be great to play on Rock Band by Death would be:

    *Overactive Imagination
    *The Philosopher
    *Scream Bloody Gore
    *Zombie Ritual
    *Evil Dead
    *Symbolic
    *Lack of Comprehension
    *Empty Words
*Flesh And The Power It Holds
    *Together As One
    *Pull The Plug
    *Low Life
    *Spirtiual Healing

Basically, every Death song. Make it happen someone.

I know that at this point, hope is mostly gone. But I need to ask: is there any way that the RBN could rebuild their relationship with Sub Pop, or has that ship sailed? Most of my favorite bands are signed to that label, and I would do anything for more music.

In particular, I'd want Fleet Foxes (oh so badly!) and more Shins, but I'd also buy any song by Blitzen Trapper, Band of Horses, Flight of the Conchords, Iron & Wine and Wolf Parade. You cannot understand how much I want Sub Pop and the RBN to come together once again.
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.

I second the Sub Pop revival; I'd buy a lot of their catalog especially if some of the new stuff by Beach House or Niki and the Dove came over.

If I remember correctly though back when I used to lurk and when Sub Pop was still doing RBN, I think RockGamer had announced 3 songs by Fleet Foxes (I remember one being White Winter Hymnal, can't remember the other two) but they never came out, so maybe the band was opposed to doing RBN or there was some other reason. It'd be nice though if those 3 along with some tracks off Helplessness Blues would show up, I'd definitely buy.

I was able to download 'Appetite' the other day, was just wondering why both tracks were not available on PS3.

Whoops, you're right, Appetite is on the PS3.
I'm not entirely sure what the criteria is for songs getting ported over to the PS3, so I can't say why the other track wasn't ported over when RBN1 tracks were being ported.

But, hey, Offbeat was the one to bring those two tracks. Maybe if the band gets a few requests, they'll look into bringing more tracks?

I'd heard about this, and I gotta say: what a tragedy. I love Fleet Foxes, and their presence in RB would be much appreciated. The keys would help too, and don't even get me started on how much the songs would benefit from the "new" harmonies feature. So while I'm sad that the FF songs didn't come to RB before, I'd actually much rather they come now. If possible.
