If I can't have Protest the Hero then how about Snot? They had Deadfall in the newest Guitar Hero and would be a blast for everything (well not Keys or really Vocals unless you like Hardcore Punk/Thrash Metal vocals). They are basically a Thrash Metal meets Hardcore Punk band and I love it

Some lesser known bands I'd love to see in RBN:

Giuffria - when Call to the Heart became a hit in 1984, everybody thought this was Journey. I'd love to get that and I Must Be Dreaming. TRIVIA: Giuffria's vocalist sang the SpongeBob song "Sweet Victory."

Autograph - I'm pretty sure this band was mentioned in the TAG kickstarter thread (which I just bumped). Their big hit is Turn Up the Radio, but I'd buy a full album Sign In Please DLC without a second thought.

Angra - Brazilian power metal, I particularly like "Rebirth" but they have several albums. I'd love Nova Era.
    RB3 Song Count: 984 unique songs -- XBL: Pheran1
Harmonix, thank you for over 5 years of amazing music.

I can't remember if I mentioned this one already, but I don't think I have...

With Ozone's success in bringing John Parr to the RBN, I wonder if Billy Vera might be in reach. He's best known "At This Moment", which I would buy in a heartbeat. Sure, it's a little slow, but it's got great keys and a great vocal track.

Rhino has put out a few Vera compilations, but originally "At This Moment" and its album were released on Alfa Records, an independent label. It seems Sony has distribution rights to Alfa's back catalog now, or at least they did as of 2001. Either way, perhaps Vera and other Alfa artists have some control over their old recordings?
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.
It's all right. We're going to the end of the line!

New Hollow - "She Ain't You"

I looked around a little to see what label this band is on, and to my great surprise they're actually still unsigned. I first heard this song at work, at a major department store, between Green Day and Taylor Swift, so they're a fairly big deal. Yes, they're the biggest deal to screaming 15 year old girls, but come on, listen to the freaking song. It's not half bad. I'd instabuy it for $2.

I've mentioned this in offbeat's thread but I'll post here too invade anyone wants to try this band.

    Twin Atlantic

They have two songs on the RBN ("What is light, where is laughter?" and "Audience and Audio"), so it may be possible for them to come back. They released a new album last year called Free and I'm dying to see a couple tracks from it come to the RBN. They're a really good Scottish alternative band, and definitely worth a listen.

    These would be great:

    Free
    Make a beast of myself
    Apocalyptic renegade

Give them a listen and see what you guys think

SillyStou: What will happen to this place when Rock Band ceases to exist?
RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

I feel the need to suggest another band, More Than A Thousand. They are a Metalcore band from Portugal and they sound A LOT like A Day to Remember. My favorite track and from what I know their most popular track It's Alive (How I Made a Monster) would be really fun. They seem pretty popular with over 20,000 facebook fans and almost 900,000 strobes on Last.fm.
