It's the death scene music in the finale of some TV show, then a sketch was made parodying the scene and then it became a meme by putting it on other death scenes for comic effect. It's the part at 2:51 that is the most well known

I tossed an email to her management. I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

It was also sampled in a Jason Derulo song, "Whatcha Say", which was a pretty big hit back in 2009.

On-topic: This got me thinking - I've seen quite a few European acts on the RBN or in the pipelines, so perhaps a little digging around in the archives of the Eurovision Song Contest might yield a few possibilities? We have Lordi, winners of the contest in 2006, as official DLC after all. I can hardly start linking to over 1500 songs here, though, and I believe quite a few of the artists are signed to major labels, but a little search on Wikipedia brought up City Records (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_Records ; www.cityrecords.co.rs - unfortunately, the link to the English website doesn't seem to work anymore), and there were some names on that list that looked very familiar to a Eurovision fan.

(In case you have no clue what I'm talking about, allow me (or Wikipedia) to elaborate.)
Guitar/Bass: Expert (with a very few exceptions)
    Drums: Hard/Expert
    Vocals: Hard

Most wanted DLC: "Luka", Suzanne Vega

My next request is The Black Keys. Their first 3 albums (The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness, Rubber Factory) are all on independent labels. Their debut album, The Big Come Up is on Alive Records and the other 2 albums are on Fat Possum Records.

    Any chances of this happening?

It's probably a tad unlikely, since the guy who did their song (who is in the band) said he's not terribly eager to do another, and he's not terribly interested in having someone else do one for him- he's too DIY. But who knows.

We've received a few songs about Giant Bomb, so how about any songs to do with Destructoid? One option is Born Depressed by Drill Queen, the theme song to the Jimquisition. Here's their contact page. They seem independent, but I couldn't fine any concrete information on that.

Otherwise, I'd like to request the Talking To Women About Videogames theme song by Jonathan Holmes. Couldn't find an email, but I'm sure he'll give you one if you ask him on Twitter.

Warmen! Here's two of their songs

    Salieri Strikes Back

    War of the Worlds

Their songs would be very challenging and fun across all instruments, except for maybe vocals. Warmen has an insane keyboardist and would make a great addition to the RBN

I would kill for some Warmen.

That being said, They're on Spinefarm. I'm not exactly sure how Spinefarm works as a label.

We have bands like Amberian Dawn, Sonata Arctica, and Machinae Supremacy.

But then they have bands like Dragonforce, Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, and Rammstein who have only had official releases.

On a related note, I wonder how they got the UK rights for D'espairsRay and Mucc. I want more jRock. lol
