Anyone wanna try going for Harlem Shakes?

They were an indie rock band that for me gives off a Vampire Weekend/early fun./Ra Ra Riot kinda vibe. They broke up in 2009, but their site and contact info for their record label Gigantic Music is still available.

Anyone ever try to go after The Flaming Lips? Is that even possible for RBN?

It's probably a tad unlikely, since the guy who did their song (who is in the band) said he's not terribly eager to do another, and he's not terribly interested in having someone else do one for him- he's too DIY. But who knows.

Man, if we could get more Steam Powered Giraffe, that would be the best Rock Band DLC period.

I know this sounds crazy talk, but my next request is Muse. Their debut album, Showbiz was released on Mushroom Records which is an independent label. Also Origin of Symmetry is on the label Taste Media.

But then they have bands like Dragonforce, Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, and Rammstein who have only had official releases.

It's the death scene music in the finale of some TV show, then a sketch was made parodying the scene and then it became a meme by putting it on other death scenes for comic effect. It's the part at 2:51 that is the most well known

Just out of general curiosity, what's the average cost of getting 7 songs on to the RBN? (I'm not sure if this is the right thread to ask in, but in a way, I'm requesting my own band...)

Depends on the author. Some charge per song, some charge a % commission, some don't. And no, this is probably not the best place for this
