5. Bandslam
Horribly underrated/overlooked. Probably because anyone that would like it sees Vanessa Hudgens and Aly Michalka,say ewww then runs away.

I liked Aly in Super 8 and Hellcats. I might actually look into this.

4. Wayne's World

It feels like "disney making an indie film", but even with that I enjoyed it and the ska-inspired pop tunes presented is fun and tasteful.

3. The Runaways
What a great story. Lita Ford apparently didn't want much with to do with it so I guess it's missing a bit but otherwise fantastic. I was certain Michael Shannon would get an oscar nod for supporting actor but I guess the part wasn't big enough. I guess it's possible people skipped it because "eww those girls are from Twilight,I'm not watching this." Yah well they make out for about 3 minutes to I Wanna Be Your Dog.

Yes, this one is great! I watched it on a whim with a friend and it was awesome.

"Music related movie" sounds like a pretty broad term, which I think is why movies like Wayne's World are popping up in people's lists. Maybe once we hear the podcast, we can understand the context in which this was being discussed, because right now it sounds like any movie where someone briefly plays an instrument or even mentions music is eligible. By that logic, A Clockwork Orange, Dark City and Back to the Future could all be considered "music related" movies.

I could argue that The Boat That Rocked is another music related movie, mainly because there's not much music, other than the story's about a pirate radio station.

Speaking of radio stations, Airheads is kind of music related too...if you count a band hijacking a radio station, then you get like two music references in one movie.
