It is cause...unlike the pop and rap that is in Now. Most of the classic rockers didn't just have one or two good songs...they have the whole album. So I'm pretty sure the old ppl bought the whole albums back then not just these NOW (playing on your pop station NOW) cds kids buy these days. I'd know since when I was 10 I bought a Now when it was fairly new. Now=Hey! So you don't know any songs? Well that is okay listen to popular music dood! COWABONGA. (to me)

Was that directed at me? And what songs are you talking about? I know a lot of songs.

They choose the top songs that get the most radio airplay for the CD's.

The CD's are only for people who loved that year in radio music and wanted something to remember it.

Not quite. More like "few months in radio music"

Everything about NOW CDs are just plain wrong.

    1. NOW CDs today are entirely filled with easy listening music that make you regret buying the CDs in the first place.
    2. Every song is a radio edit, which doesn't sound as good or any good at all, compared to the album versions.
    3. It's a mixed bag that doesn't and/never pleases everyone. It's a compilation album series for tween idiots with a poor palette of music.

1.The people buying the CDs dont regret it because they like the music on said CDs
2.The kind of music they put on these CDs dont have a substantially different radio edit. They pretty much come out of the studio as "radio-edits"
3.Those "tween idiots" are the target market. You obviously aren't the target market.

Well obviously you can never please everyone.

Like Ryan said, you obvious aren't the target demographic. If people regretted buying them, they wouldn't buy any more, right? Then how come they still come out with them multiple times a year? Because the music is aimed at people who listen to the radio, which is a lot.

They're today's target market, when NOW sold CDs around 80s to 90s, it had a wider audience, it would decrease to today's audience afterwards.

And back in the beginning of the Now! series, or whatever you want to call it, they still had the same kind of music, song that were radio favorites. And no the target market wasnt "wider" back then, it still appeals to the same kind of people now as it did then

You went from 'pleases no one' to 'pleases tweens' in like, a single line.
