Well, they were going to re-license them anyway, but this was an odd way to do it. Doesn't mean I'm not glad they're back. It'll be even better if they're RB3 versions too.

1) Check my follow up post in the announcement thread.

2) Not everyone buying RB Blitz will have played RB2.

3) Including them in the Blitz soundtrack is cheaper for the community than charging $2 for DLC.

4) We get more requests to bring these songs back than any other lost in export.

5) Don't play them if you don't like them.

I can see Spoonman immediately benefiting from an RB3 version with vocals. Less certain about Give It Away.

I DID NOT THINK THIS THROUGH and that's pretty cool how they're RB3 versions now but it's still ridiculous.
