Yeah, but not as many as there are supposed to be.

If we ever get that, I'll snag "Child in Time" to create the "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" setlist.

How great is it that BNL comes to RB and has like the perfect chart for me? Not too hard but not too easy on any instrument.

I'm saying it doesn't matter how many versions of a song officially existed beforehand. Harmonix can still make their own unique mix, longer or shorter than any other versions out there.

The fact is, every song has to be remixed and re-edited by Harmonix's audio team anyway. Most of the time they mold the game track to follow a well-established version of the song, but that isn't always the case.

(Also, "I Want to Break Free" sounds just like the 4 minute single version to me, with an altered ending to account for the fade-out.)
Ah, you got me there. I hadn't heard the single mix before. I have the album version and the 12" mix. Still, there are other examples where the game track is different from any previously released version. I forget the name of the song, but within the past year there was one track that originally had a long piano intro. The single edit of the song snipped the intro entirely, but the game track kept half of it.

In any case, the version of DOTL in Blitz isn't altered from how it appears on the album, so it's kind of a moot point.
That will make the purists happy.

It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

Yes, but how often have they arbitrarily made edits to a song with one version to cut part of the song out? If we're worried about this song having part of it cut out, we might as well worry about parts being cut out of every song ever announced for Rock Band.

    Hey guys, I did it!

EDIT: Wow, they fixed Give It Away's vocals difficulty. 1 dot is fair, because that last phrase has a weird melody to it.
