The specific permissions are listed when you install the app. All apps have access to your basic information (name, location, friend's list). We also ask for email and permission to post on your wall. We're not currently collecting emails, or doing anything with them, it's just based on the possibility that in the future we might want to tell you about stuff. (We hate spam as much as you). As I've noted before many times, we don't ever post without you actually clicking on a button to do it. (We hate spam as much as you)

Oh, I'm not worried about that. I just don't wan to add a gazillion friends to my profile that I don't actually know. I guess I'll see what it's like. It doesn't sound like that's required though.

After you create a score war, or join a goal, on the Facebook App, you need to LOG IN TO ROCK CENTRAL in order for the game to pick up the changes. Go back to the splash screen and click through where it says "Connecting to Rock Central" and so forth.

Basically, the App notification CAN create a Facebook notification, but doesn't always. Hope that makes sense.

Ah, okay. So I guess everything is working as expected, I just needed a little explanation. Thanks! It would be neat if I could get Facebook to actually notify me about these things (e.g. via the Facebook app on my phone), but I can't seem to find a setting for it at the moment. If anyone figures it out, please let me know!

No dont need to be friends with people to join their goals. Just join them, but I wouldnt do that with people you dont know because it splits up the coins

Eh, sometimes they may want you to. I expect I'll get 60-to-80% of the way through the Parenthetical Scavenger Hunt, Queen, and RHCP goals on my own... after that, I'm hoping someone randomjoins me and mops up the rest for me because I sure won't be able to complete those goals alone without further monetary investment. And 60-80% of the prize and a noted-completed goal is better than 0 coins and a failed goal.

How do I get goals to be marked as complete? I have ten of them on my "In Progress" list all stuck there, preventing me from starting more. When I click on each individual goal, it says "Complete!" and lists the songs I played, but the main list seems to think they're still in progress.

How do you join a friend's goal in progress? Where specifically do I need to look? Can you not do it if you've both started the goal?
