I'll have to take another look today while she's playing; I thought they were either 1200 or 1500. 800 base would mean that I'm hitting 100+ flame notes on some songs where I definitely didn't think I was hitting that many.
Telling people online how wrong they are since 1990.
Usually Flame notes, Road Rage, and guitar + (or whatever instrument is heavy on notes).

I've mostly started using blast notes+road rage+super or jackpot+flame notes+ super. I like having a variety in loadouts, but it seems like the others just aren't as good in most cases.

My favorite setup has become Road Rage, Flame Note and Super instrument (most often Guitar). I've come to notice that this set is the most effective in getting high scores.
In some cases, I switch to Bottle Rocket and/or Blast Note. On some slower/simpler songs, I sometimes try using Jackpot.

My basic loadout tends to be road rage, blast noted and super guitar (although I'll change the instrument if there's a higher-tiered one other than guitar, and guitar is 3 dots or lower).
Jackpot would be good if I could keep a streak worth a damn.
If it's a track easy enough that I can expect to make Jackpot work in note-dense segments for the super instrument, Jackpot-Flame-SuperX. If it's a tougher/denser track and I think a Jackpot would run a risk of being disrupted, I tend to go with Doubler-Blast-SuperX.
I also virtually never do Super on Drums or Keys (in part because their being on the sides makes them far less convenient to weave with other tracks, and in part because busy drum patterns just tend to trip me up and break me out of Blitz and so I rather not make it my focus - once I max multiplier I vacate the drum lane til checkpoint). The only song I Super Drums is Neil Peart's "The Hockey Theme" (one of my 4 GSes to date).
AsianSteev: if you can read this, put more Ska songs on the RBN! Please?

I go back and forth between Blast Notes, Road Rage, and Super (Instrument) and Blast Notes, Jack Pot, and Super (Instrument).
blast notes/road rage/super whatever
Inless I feel like I can get a higher score with another setup.
