Scrolling Song Sound - For the love of god please change!

As someone with like 1700 songs, that sound you hear when scrolling through songs is the most annoying thing about this game (IMO). It is literally driving me nuts...

Please change it or just get rid of it. If it can already be done, someone please point me to the right direction.

Kinda defeats the purpose when you are listening to the preview of songs because you don't know what you want to play....

Hmmmm.... Yeah, that could be a problem, sorry. I guess you'll have to suck it up. Drummers are kinda lucky because the scrolling sound isn't nearly as annoying as the guitar, or especially the keys.

Why should I bother mutting and unmuting 50 times in one hr?.... Just change the sound or get rid of it!!! I don't mind the scrolling sound in RB3 for example. I'm sure that if you have to have a scrolling sound for the game, there are other choices that are much better than the current sound. Lowering the volume may also help as it is too loud and for me that is part of what makes it annoying.

Changing sounds in Rock Band Blitz would most likely require a game patch, and those don't come free (or even cheap) on game consoles like the 360 or PS3. And with the entire Rock Band platform winding down and Harmonix shifting developers to other projects, the chance of getting a patch is even less likely.

Sorry, but you'll have to keep your remote's mute button handy if it bothers you that much.

Well, I'm assuming you know the titles to all the songs you bought, so you'll not have to listen to every single one. Just deal with it, it's not going to kill you to listen to it. Plus, I was kidding around with you. Don't take kids seriously.

It's just that one sound. It's a lot louder than RB3. Listening to it while scrolling through all my songs is just so annoying. Sometimes I just don't know what I want play....

PROTIP: when you have a lot of songs and find yourself endlessly scrolling through them, consider having a printout of a list of your songs. I started using one a few weeks ago by using DLCquickplay and it seriously reduces how long it takes me to scroll through song since I can just scan my sheet of paper and then preview a handful before I pick something.

when I buy new songs I keep my DLCQP account updated but write them by hand on the paper not to be wasteful. I'll likely reprint when I've bought a dozen more or so.
