Just wanted to throw out a couple of bugs/few suggestions:

I had the game freeze up in the middle of playing the Kelly Clarkson song for that "Hard Goal is Hard" dealy. Just froze completely, had to turn off the 360. Nothing unusual going on, and I know that's not particularly helpful with a lack of details, but figured I'd throw it out there.

There's something strange about the audio signal being sent out during calibration. When I was doing the audio lag calibration, I could only hear the click about half the time, and my amplifier was going nuts switching audio modes. No problems at any other point in the game, but it did make audio calibration a little challenging.

Not sure if bug or by design, but my recommendations appear to be...lacking. For the score battles, it's constantly picking the same three users for me to challenge - none of which are actually friends of mine. I'm kinda feeling like I'm picking on them at this point. Also, after playing a few songs, every single one of my recommendations is to "Get More Stars" or "Play It Again". It'd be nice if at least one of them was a new song, and there seems to be a lack of variety in the recommendations. After I did the medium Foo Fighters goal, every single recommendation was a Foo Fighters song - I just played a ton of them, I don't really want to play a bunch more. I'd like some new songs because I tend to have an issue picking out a song I feel like playing, especially if it's one that I neglect a lot, which leads to...

Can we get a Random Song menu item in the song list? I use that constantly in RB3, and am really missing it.

Edit: Somehow, I truly missed it. I have no idea how I didn't see it, and my head, it hangs in shame.

Finally, it's probably been mentioned (I haven't gone through the whole thread yet, but wanted to get this out while the suggestions/bugs were fresh in my mind), but can we get rid of that whole "Press A to start" prior to the discovering of DLC and connecting to Rock Central? It's nice to be able to start the app, go grab something to drink, and have it ready to play - having a needless button press right in the middle of it is kinda irritating.

    Thanks!

I am aware of that option, but it doesn't help as much. Agreed, my "hundreds" was an exaggerated amount, but the annoyance is still genuine. It is just so much easier to use the combo of "Jump to" screen and bumper (or was it trigger?) further from there. The horrid noise it makes doesn't help either.

Edit: Ok, just compared to RB3 and I think what is putting me off (other than the loss of bumper quick jumps) is that it feels much slower in the scrolling. It also has too much hesitation. When you have 1000+ songs, this becomes an annoyance.

I have this option and use it mainly now. ? Maybe change the sorting first and it then shows up at the top? I don't remember if it shows up as default and I can't confirm since xbox is in use at the moment.

Yes this all of this. I hate that I dont know how close I am to a gold star because I have had friends play a song. Then I have to ask the person if they golded it and then ask how comfortably they golded it. JUST LET ME BEAT THE DUKE!

I don't know if this has been asked yet but can you guys make it to where you can switch to drums from keys by going the opposite direction and vise versa. I understand that you cant see the notes on the tracks from the other side of the road but I think it would make it much easier.
    sad

I have no idea how I didn't see that before. I shall go hang my head in shame now.

Yes, but it's kind of an excess effort when moving just one or two sections, and you've got the bumpers doing what the triggers are already doing anyway.
A peek into my RB dreamlist:

Simon and Garfunkel: "A Hazy Shade of Winter"
    Icehouse: "Icehouse"
    The Spinners: "Spaceballs"

I apologize in advance if this has already been requested a hundred times--but the one feature I think the game absolutely absolutely needs is the ability to switch from the far right track to the far left track in one click. Like, if I'm playing the drum track, instead of hitting right trigger 4 times to get to the keyboard track and vice versa, you should just be able to hit left from the drum track to get to the keyboard track.

Dreaming of Love by Lights Resolve and Am I Crazy by Little Fish don't seem to work for the free songs goal.
    Required DLC;
    Birds of Tokyo
    Children Collide
    We Are Scientists
    The Wombats
    Art Vs. Science
    (more) Muse

I am also being forced to other tracks at random times while using the freakish, or should that be freqish control layout however I am on the PS3. Very annoing to say the least! Tried the other control layouts and did not experience this issue. Having played Frequency/Amplitude for so long I really don't want to use a different control layout just to avoid this really annoying issue. Anyone else playing with the freakish control layout seeing this issue on PS3 or 360?
