i dont know how any of the second one would work but coming from being able to 5*/GS tier 5+ songs on expert on many instruments coming to this there seems to be less skill in actually hitting the notes and more skill in knowing when to switch tracks. it is defiantly not how i would have planned the game out but it is still kind of fun. these are just some things i would like to see in the game to make it more about accuracy than trying to catch sections to up your multiplier.
Solution: get better at the game. Gold stars are supposed to represent the highest scores; handing out gold stars just for playing would defeat the purpose of stars. I've gotten gold stars on about 60-70 sightreads, and 5 stars on almost every song I play.

well yes get better but what i am saying is that you get more points playing all lanes insted of focusing on parts of the song you find the most fun and it is not based on how accurate you are. i get between 97-100% on every lane, mainly 99-100% but some songs i currently suck at.

what i am saying is i dont understand how you can get a better score playing every lane even if you do not have good accuracy but if someone can 100% the hardest parts of songs but dont wont to play the boring parts of them the person who is not very good at the game gets the most points.

i have a feeling this will not make a lot of sense and i apologise for this but hopefully someone will understand what i am trying to say.

fun fact, this game isn't RB3. you play by playing all instruments, if you just want to play instrument you should play RB3.

A gold star is an accomplishment, accomplishments don't come easy.

and i'm getting gold stars on 99% of the songs sightread, so it's definitely a skill thing.

I want a lane loop, so that each lane is 2 presses away at most, compared to up to 4 right now (drums <> vox)
oh and make it an option, so that some peeps don't go "I ARE CONFUSE"
(and **** this forum again for eating my post...)
    I need Tori Amos DLC.

Because if you play all parts, YOUR LEVEL CAP GOES UP, which means YOU CAN GET HIGHER MULTIPLIERS.

It's often better to avoid the tricky complex parts and use abilities to clear those while you handle parts you can play better. It's all about learning how to use your powerups and swapping. When I'm in a zone, sometimes I'm only hitting 2-3 notes between lane switches while chasing purple or OD notes.

what i would find fun for more competition and more hours of gameplay available this would be the ability to play blitz as it is now as a "band" and then the ability to play each instrument separately as you can in rock band 3, even though i have over 1,500 songs i play a lot so even though i am starting again i will have played all of the songs within a few weeks. i know i can always buy more but it gets expensive to keep buying songs, having the ability to play band, keys, bass, vox, guitar, drums all with their own leader boards would be fantastic given that the amount of hours of gameplay would increase dramatically, keep the 2 note buttons, add in some single instrument power-ups you have yourself some major play time and some awesome competition.

You should be able to restart and change powerups in the first 10 seconds or so of a song without having to pay more coins. It's annoying when I start a song but quickly realize that I accidentally selected the wrong powerup, but I can't change it now without paying more coins.

It would be cool, but if you're getting decent scores (5 or gold stars), you should usually be breaking even or making a small amount of money per song. Throw in any of the goals and you can quickly increase your coins too.

Speaking of which, I just recently started paying attention to goals and doing them. My verdict; Facebook integration feels unnecessary. I know the dev team (was it the infamous Brain Chan?) wanted to integrate social networking, but it seems to me like the Facebook stuff just muddies the Blitz waters.
AsianSteev: if you can read this, put more Ska songs on the RBN! Please?
